REVIRĒSCŌ

REVIRESCO

Giving is Great for YOU!

The Latin word revirēscō means:

  • To Renew and Revive.
  • To Become Green or Verdant Again.
  • To Grow Strong or Young Again.

It is an action verb. There is no passive stem of the word.

The golden lion passant is our heraldic charge. Representing courage, strength, chivalry, and valor, it does not lie down, recline, nor prostrate itself. It is not reluctant, indifferent or apathetic. This simple word and symbol guide and illustrate our approach to giving. We desire to lift others up. We wish to encourage and inspire growth in our grant recipients. Providing educational opportunities through academic scholarships is an active method to accomplish these goals.

  • All contributions reduce tuition and expense barriers for under-resourced youth.

  • Help us give children a chance to blossom, flourish and thrive.

Let us learn then from the analogy of nature, the great lesson, that to get, we must give; that to accumulate, we must scatter; that to make ourselves happy, we must make others happy; and that to get good and become spiritually vigorous, we must do good, and seek the spiritual good of others.
