We wish to be transparent and build trust in every person with whom we interact.
Thank you for being interested in education and our foundation. We want you to donate and we would like to periodically contact you to remind you about donations and to encourage you to inform others about the opportunity.
Donation transactions take place on web pages that utilize Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) encryption. This helps protect donors’ financial payment data from fraud. All credit card and other payment information is encrypted by our third-party processing vendor and is not accessible or retained by us in any fashion.
If you choose to share any information about yourself with us, we will never sell or trade any personally identifiable information collected. We may, however, release such information when appropriate to comply with the law or to protect our or others’ rights, property, or safety. Non-personally identifiable (aggregated and anonymous) visitor information may be provided to third parties for marketing, advertising, technical, operational or servicing help. We may also employ cookies, log files or other collection methods in the background of the website to learn about visitors to our website.
In the future our website may be integrated with a third-party email marketing automation platform to allow us to better utilize visitor and donor contact information. We may also choose to participate in social networking and to incorporate social media elements or contributed content into our website. Every person interacting with us in such a fashion is responsible for what they contribute or post and we do not review, endorse, or approve of their content. We do, however, reserve the right to remove or seek removal of any content that is offensive. Occasionally, we may include links to laws, news articles, or other outside materials. These third-parties should have separate and independent privacy and security policies and we assume no responsibility or liability for their content or activities.
This website is not intended for use by children. Our message and programs are directed to adults and intended for charitable purposes. If we discover receipt of any information from a child under 13 years old, we will delete it.
All information submitted (other than credit card / payment processing data) may be retained by us indefinitely, but, at a minimum, we will keep it for no less than three (3) years to facilitate appropriate charitable activity reporting and compliance.
