Now, more than ever, technology and market changes almost necessitate some post-secondary education.  One must receive earnest and extended attention and training after high school in order to develop workforce skills to find and flourish in a well-paying career.

Every child has passions, perspectives, interests and ideas which can be inspired and enlightened by post-secondary schooling.  But sadly, for some, college is an unrealistic dream. 

Maybe it’s because of family disadvantage, where they are from, due to financial barriers, or for lack of social support. Maybe it is adversity or an unexpected responsibility they face, or perhaps it is just because they are a “first generation” college student lacking expectation and encouragement.

But, according to the National Center for Education Statistics, students who wait to enroll in college are at considerable risk of never completing a postsecondary credential when compared with their peers who enroll immediately after high school graduation.
